Heather: We lived in Kent County so that is a good English name. The Spencer name will continue as Spen’s grandson is named Mathew Spencer Blanchette and now Aunt Edith’s great grandson is named Spencer Evarone O’Keefe. How did you choose Dawn’s name?

 Audrey: Dawn was the name of a friend at RI School of Design. Her father owned Earnshaw Drug Store in East Greenwich. Also Catherine’s middle name was Dawn. I liked the sound of Dawn Brooks. Brooks, maybe all wrapped up in the drug store. *

* Earnshaw’s in E. Greenwich, R.I. is a gift shop.  Earnshaw in Wickford is now Brook’s Drugs.
