Heather: Did you received the first draft of your memoirs, “Glimpses of the Past: Morning Conversations with Audrey”?

Audrey: I was reading it. It makes me laugh. Laughing most of the time! …

Heather: Are you tired today?

Audrey: The sun isn’t shining. I am sitting in my (companion) chair and roll back and forth. We may as well talk. I can hold my phone. I can always switch hands.

Heather: Is this right? Dad’s best friend as a child was Wilfred. He married Theo who is now with you at Alpine.

Audrey: Yes, we call him Bill. He and Theo had five boys.

Heather: Would you have liked to have all boys?

Audrey: No, it was fun to dress up little girls and they are so pretty. It was fun with kids, both boys and girls.

Heather: How were Crystal’s children different?

Audrey: Amber was different from everyone else. She was full of fun. She was very active. She never sat down. The rest of them rested from time to time, but not Amber. Now Martin, he was a good little kid and Belinda, she caused no trouble. The three of them seldom fought as kids.

Oh dear, I am so tired. I’ve got to hang up.

Heather: I’ll see you next Saturday. I’ll take you to Church on Sunday.
